Equipment

Everybody has to know that the right clothing and equipment is essential for a successful mountain trip. There will be some items and travel clothes which you will want to pack for the journey which will not be required on the tour in the mountains, so these may be left at your hotel and collected at the end, a light fold away small bag is useful for these items.

    Day 1: Ohrid

  • - Meeting at the Ohrid airport

  • - Morning transfer to the village of Gorna Belica
  • - Hiking up to Cern Kamen Peak
  • - Visiting the glacial lake Vevchanska Lokva
  • - Picnic on the mountain
  • - City tour in Struga and visit the bridge of poetry
  • - Overnight in Ohrid
  • Day 3: Jablanica Mountain, Circular hiking above the village of Vevchani

  • - Morning transfer to the village of Vevchani
  • - Hiking on a circular trail above the vilage of Vevchani through ancient area Vajtos.

  • - Transfer to National Park Mavrovo
  • - Overnight in Mavrovo
  • Day 4: National Park Mavrovo, Peak Plocha 2754m

  • - Morning transfer to the village of Zirovnica
  • - Hiking up to Peak Plocha 2245m

  • Day 5: National Park Mavrovo, Medenica Peak 2163m

  • - Transfer to high mountain plateau of Mount Bistra
  • - Traverse of Medenica Peak from Frchec to the village of Galichnik
  • - Galichnik walking tour
  • - Lunch in the village of Galichnik at the home of a local villager
  • - Transfer to National Park Pelister
  • - Overnight in Pelister
  • Day 6: National Park Pelister, Pelister Peak 2601m

  • - Short morning transfer to the starting point of the hike
  • -  Hiking to the highest peak of Mount Baba Pelister - 2601m
