Equipment

Everybody has to know that the right clothing and equipment is essential for a successful mountain trip. There will be some items and travel clothes which you will want to pack for the journey which will not be required on the tour in the mountains, so these may be left at your hotel and collected at the end, a light fold away small bag is useful for these items.

    Day 1: Shar Mountain, Kazani Peak 2550 m

  • - Morning transfer to the mountain resort Popova Sapka
  • - Ski touring to Kazani Peak 2550 m
  • - Freeriding on the north slopes of Kazani Peak
  • - Picnic in the mountain
  • - Ski touring back to Popova Sapka
  • - Accommodation in a hotel in Popova Sapka
  • - Overnight in Popova Sapka
  • Day 2: Shar Mountain, traverse from Popova Sapka to Leshnica Valley and Bozovtse village

  • - Ski touring to Plat pass
  • - Freeriding from the pass Plat to the Leshnica valley
  • - Picnic in the mountain
  • - Ski touring to the village of Bozovtse
  • - Transfer back to Popova Sapka
  • - Overnight in Popova Sapka
  • Day 3: Shar Mountain, Karanikola Peak 2409 m

  • - Transfer to the village of Veshala
  • - Ski touring to Karanikola Lake and Karanikola Peak
  • - Freeriding on the north slopes of Sheremetnica Peak
  • - Lunch in Tetovo
  • - Transfer to the National Park Mavrovo
  • Day 4: National Park Mavrovo, Mount Korab 2754 m

  • - Transfer to the starting point of the tour
  • - Ski touring to Mount Korab
  • - Freeriding on the north slopes of Mount Korab
  • - Ski touring to Kepi Bard Peak
  • - Picnic in the mountain
  • - Freeriding on the north slopes of Kepi Bard
  • - Transfer to Mavrovo
  • - Overnight in Mavrovo
  • Day 5: National Park Mavrovo, Medenica Peak 2163 m

  • - Transfer to the starting point of the tour
  • - Ski touring to Medenica Peak
  • - Freeriding on the north slopes of Medenica Peak
  • - Ski touring to the ski resort Mavrovo
  • - Picnic in the mountain
  • - Skiing down on the slopes
  • - Transfer to Skopje
