The Journey to Titov Vrv - Tito’s Peak
Stretching across 20 kilometers of pristine landscapes with some 1000 meters of climbing, Titov Vrv is a living testament to history and natural beauty. The journey to its summit and back to the starting point, a 6 – 9 hour hiking adventure, begins early in the morning, building anticipation for the wonders ahead. While the hiking trail is medium demanding and requires physical preparation, it rewards those who embrace the challenge with unparalleled views and unforgettable moments. For those who may not be seasoned hikers, it’s not a barrier but an opportunity—a chance to grow and discover the strength within.
The beginning and end of the hiking tour are from the Popova Shapka mountain resort, which can be reached via the regional asphalt road from Tetovo to Popova Shapka. The hiking is carried out along a clearly defined and user-friendly mountain trail that passes through various landscapes of one of the largest pastures in Europe, in the very heart of the Shar Mountain National Park.
