From the center of Ohrid, the trail isn’t easy to see; however, from the gorgeous village of Velestovo, the trail is vivid, but it takes a closer glance to actually see it.

The trail also starts from the village of Velestovo, which is also 6 kilometers away from the center of Ohrid.

To get to Elen Peak, you will pass by historical, majestic, and absolutely gorgeous areas along the trail. You truly can feel the presence of Ohrid and its nature on this trail.

Ohrid is beautiful, and so are the surrounding mountains, such as Elen Vrv.

This peak has very historical and artistic regions and areas that give off an extra touch to Ohrid itself.

Equipment

Everybody has to know that the right clothing and equipment is essential for a successful mountain trip. There will be some items and travel clothes which you will want to pack for the journey which will not be required on the tour in the mountains, so these may be left at your hotel and collected at the end, a light fold away small bag is useful for these items.
